Growing up, my grandfather was an architect and my aunt a fine artist, specialising in airbrushing. Observing their work, I think I wanted to pursue something softer; embodying subject matter with blurred boundaries, as a sort of reflection on things I myself lived through. Rather than pursuing perfection in accuracy, I wanted to pursue perfecting the haze and softness, and the fluidity in the way eyes drift across the page. That's why I decided to place so much emphasis on sfumato as a technique.

I work in digital painting, graphite, conte, and pastel. Portraiture mostly, some figure work. I studied at UAL in London and I'm returning to an active practice.
